Students receive groundbreaking A-Level results at LAE Tottenham
We are delighted to announce another set of outstanding A-Level results for students at the London Academy of Excellence Tottenham (LAET) – the Club-sponsored Sixth Form college based on the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium campus.
55% of grades were either A* or A with 86% A*-B, the strongest ever exam results for LAET and notably above national averages. As is typically the case for LAET graduates, the majority of students have secured places at Russell Group universities and a record number have won places on competitive degree apprenticeships with a diverse range of prestigious employers across industries including automotive engineering, investment banking, tech and software engineering.
For the first time in the school’s history, students have gained places at prestigious overseas Universities, with two students heading to Harvard University on full academic scholarships.
It’s also been a record year for offers to Oxford and Cambridge, with at least 16 students gaining places, taking the total to 61 since the school opened in 2017, with local student Gabriel Fetai winning a place at Oxford to study Economics and Management having achieved an A* and two As.
This year has also seen the largest-ever number of LAET students secure places on university courses relating to Art, including Architecture, Art Foundation, Creative Arts and Games Art.
Meanwhile, a record number of LAET students have secured competitive degree apprenticeships with an array of employers including Rokos Capital Management, Shell, Jaguar Land Rover, Goldman Sachs and Amazon.
Ibrahim Hannan has won a place on a degree apprenticeship with Shell in Quantative Analysis having secured straight A’s in Economics, Maths and Philosophy. He said: “When I received my offer, I was extremely happy given that the degree apprenticeship applications are a very long process with multiple interviews and assessments - I was very grateful that my hard work paid off. My advice I would like to share to applicants is to not let rejection hold you back as I received many rejections myself but kept applying and keeping myself motivated. I am excited about my apprenticeship starting soon as it will be a new experience from my normal academic life and I am curious to see how I enjoy the working world after A-Levels.”

This cohort proves that Tottenham can be a springboard to anywhere and I am so proud of the achievements of every single student who was and will remain part of the LAE Tottenham community.”
